What a buyer asks first.
Every answer restates a page on this site and links to it, so you can check it there. If yours is not here, ask the assistant: it searches this site, in your browser.
About the work
What does Noxia do?
It builds AI agents for the work on either side of a decision: the enquiry, the chase, the first draft, the pack. It never builds the decision itself. One job at a time, named before a quote, with a record of every step a person can read afterwards.
What will you not automate?
Anything a person has to own. In financial services that means the advice itself, including the recommendation, the suitability assessment and the risk profile. It also means anything a named person owns under SM&CR, client conversations once they stop being logistics, and vulnerability assessment. Each offer page names its own line under “What stays human”.
What do you build?
Twelve offers. The five core ones are enquiry handling, document chasing, first-draft writing, pack and case assembly, and knowledge that cites itself. The audit layer goes into every one of them. Six specialist offers sit behind a free tool or a field note.
Is there a product behind each offer?
Not always, and the pages say which. Eight of the twelve have no system of ours behind them. Six say “None of ours yet”: they are built on your systems and the model provider’s. AI search visibility says “None of ours”: the work is done on your own pages. Recruitment data says its rate index is missing, so it works from published sources. Saying otherwise would imply a platform that has not been written.
Who do you work with?
Businesses in Edinburgh and across Scotland first, and firms elsewhere in the UK too. The pages go deepest for mortgage brokers, IFAs and wealth managers; dental practices; letting agents; and plumbing and heating firms. The same six core pieces fit any trade.
How an engagement runs
Is there a small, free first step?
Yes: a free 30-minute AI health check by phone or video. We look at where your team’s hours go, name the one or two jobs worth trying first and the ones to leave alone, and send a short note afterwards. For a team, there is also a half-day session at your workplace in Edinburgh.
Is there funding for AI projects in Scotland?
Mostly as free courses, expert time and advice: The Data Lab’s fully funded courses and expert support, Business Gateway’s advice and webinars, and Interface’s innovation vouchers with universities. Our guide lists what is open, who runs it and what it asks of you, checked against each scheme’s own page.
How does it start?
With one job, named: “package a case to this lender’s current requirements”, not “automate the back office”. The six audit records are written into the statement of work before anything is built.
How long until something works?
Four to six weeks to a working agent on real cases, with a person confirming every output. The build plan runs Discover in weeks 1 to 2, Pilot in 3 to 6, the rest of the stack in 7 to 12, then managed monthly.
What if it doesn’t work?
A review at ninety days against the number agreed at the start. If it did not move, we say so and you stop paying.
What does an agent leave behind?
Six records for every action: what triggered it, what it read, what it produced, who confirmed it, what they changed, and what it refused to do. They can be exported. The record page shows a worked example, labelled as an illustration, that downloads as a CSV.
Money
How is it charged?
A fixed fee to build, then a flat monthly to run. Never per task, per minute, per call, per document or per row. A price that climbs with your volume charges you for the thing working, and it can’t be compared with a salary. Each offer page says exactly how that offer is charged.
How much does it cost?
We publish how each offer is charged, not a price list yet. The quote for your job comes in writing after Discover, the first two weeks, with the six records in it. We would rather give you no number than one that is not written down.
Trust
How do I know your numbers are right?
Every figure has its source, a weight label, the date it was last checked and the date it is next due, beside it on the page. The register lists every source, and every figure that was removed or corrected, with why and when. Volatile sources are re-read every 30 days.
What happens when you get one wrong?
It is corrected on the page and added to the register. It is not deleted quietly. Every page has a link to report a stale figure, and those reports are counted apart from enquiries.
Do the free tools send my data anywhere?
No. They run in your browser and send nothing. Every tool’s page says so where it says what the tool needs, and the arithmetic is shown so you can check it.
Does the site track me?
It sets no cookies. It counts page views and page speed through Vercel on its own domain. It records four kinds of event, never with anything a visitor typed: which contact link was used and where it sat; a stale-figure report, counted apart from enquiries; which chapters of the home page were reached; and the site’s own script errors.
AI, explained
What is an AI agent?
Software that can take actions with tools: send an email, update a record, book a meeting. Useful, and riskier than a chatbot, which is why ours do the work either side of a decision and leave a record of every step.
Can an agent do the whole job on its own?
On bounded tasks the best agents now beat the human baseline: 86% of OSWorld’s 369 desktop tasks against 72% for people. On long, real-world jobs the best agent finishes 31% on its own. So we cut long jobs into bounded ones and put a named person at each join.
Does AI make mistakes?
Yes. It can state wrong things confidently. That is why an answer with no citation is returned as no answer in what we build, and why a person confirms anything that matters.
What is a large language model?
The engine inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot: software trained on a huge amount of text to predict what comes next. It is very good at language and surprisingly bad at some things that look simple.
One job, named. Tell us which.
A sentence is plenty: the job you would hand over first. Nothing you type is stored on this site.
