Your data on this site

Last updated 19 October 2026

Everything on this page is true of the code that serves it, and you can check each line in your browser’s developer tools. What only the business can answer is listed at the end, as not yet published, rather than guessed at.

In short

  • No cookies. The site sets none, and neither does anything it loads.
  • The free tools run in your browser. Nothing you enter into a calculator or the checker is sent anywhere.
  • The enquiry box sends nothing. It opens your own mail app with your message in it, addressed to support@noxia.co.uk. The website stores nothing you type.
  • Page views are counted, through Vercel on this site’s own domain, without cookies or an identifier. Details below.

What this website does

Stored on your device

Three small things, so the site remembers what you have read, whether you paused its motion, and that its mark has already greeted you this visit. None of them leaves your device, and none identifies you.

WhatWhere, and for how longName
Which field notes you have opened, so the index can dim the ones you have readlocal storage, until you clear itnx-read
That you pressed Pause motion, so the site stays still on every pagelocal storage, until you press Play motion or clear itnx-motion
That this visit has already seen the thistle in the header swirl in, so it does that once a visitsession storage, until you close the tabnx-bloom

The free tools

Every calculator and the declaration checker work entirely in your browser; once a tool’s page has loaded, it works with the connection off. Copy a link to these numbers puts your answers after the # in the address, and browsers never send that part of an address to a server, so a link you share carries your numbers without this site seeing them.

The enquiry box and the email links

The enquiry box composes an email in your own mail app, addressed to support@noxia.co.uk. The site does not send it and keeps no copy. If no mail app picks the message up, the page offers to copy it for you, or to open it in Gmail; that, too, happens on your device.

Email sent to support@noxia.co.uk, by either route, is delivered to a mailbox hosted by Hostinger, our email provider.

The Ask assistant and search

Both search this site’s own pages inside your browser. Nothing you type into them leaves your device.

Counting

  • Page views, through Vercel Web Analytics, served from this site’s own domain: the page’s address, the page you came from, a location down to the city, and your device type, operating system and browser. Vercel recognises a visit by a hash of the request, which it discards after 24 hours; it does not use cookies or keep an identifier. Vercel’s documentation.
  • Which contact link was used. When you click an email or phone link, send the enquiry box, or press Copy beside the address, the site records that it happened, which control it was and where on the page it sat. Never the address, the subject, or anything you typed.
  • A stale-figure report, counted apart from enquiries, the same way: that it happened, and where the link sat.
  • Which chapters of the home page were reached, by name, so a reader of all eleven is not counted as having left after the first.
  • The site’s own errors. If one of the site’s scripts fails in your browser, it records where (a file and line of its own) and the first 120 characters of the error message, three times a page at most. Errors from browser extensions are not recorded.

Hosting

Like any website, this one is served by a host that processes the network address of each request in order to deliver the page.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to support@noxia.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Not yet published

These are the questions a privacy notice has to answer that the code cannot. They are not answered here yet, because a guess would be worse than a gap. Until they are, ask us at support@noxia.co.uk.

  • Who the controller is: the legal name, and its registration with the Information Commissioner.
  • How long email sent to us is kept, where in the world our email provider holds it, and who can read it.
  • How quickly a request about your data is answered.
  • For a client engagement: which model providers are used and on what terms, where data is stored and processed, where the six records are kept and for how long, and whether a data processing agreement is offered as standard.
